Description:
The Energy Auditor position will be responsible for conducting in-field energy assessments of buildings, including visual inspection and diagnostic testing. The auditor is responsible for preparing written reports for all buildings that they audit, as well as acting as liaison between the home or property owner and the improvement contractors. This position reports to the company Vice President. On the job training will be provided.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree

License/Certification:
Valid Driver’s License required.
BPI Building Analyst Professional certification is preferred, but not required.

Experience:
1+ years experience in the construction industry.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Must be able to work in a team, as well as work efficiently with minimal supervision. Must be able to consistently meet ongoing deadlines, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Understand all aspects of residential and/or commercial building process, and be willing to participate in additional training and certifications. Desire to learn the principles of building science and apply them to building diagnostics.

Physical:
Must have a full range of body movements including use of hands, ability to lift 50 lbs, and perform considerable stooping, kneeling, crawling and climbing.
